BIBLE TEXT: JOHN 3:16

Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”.

Jesus Christ died to save all mankind. Whether yellow, black or white, we all qualify for the everlasting life God promises us through the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:9-10 says, “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled, we shall be saved by his life”.

Jesus Christ came to save you and I. He will continually wait on us till we repent and return back to him like the prodigal son did.

Please accept Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour today.

God is our deliverer. He sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for us and deliver us from the bondage of sin, death and all its consequences. ( >John 3:16)

Psalms 46:1&11 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge”.

God sent angels, prophets, samaritans to deliver his people as recorded in the scriptures. He still sends angels, the holyspirt and his ministers to us daily to remind us of his words and delivers us from evil and oppression.

Do you want God to send a deliverer to you today?, You must corporate with him and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and saviour.

When we accept Jesus and believe in him, we have divine access to GOD OUR SAVIOUR AND DELIVERER 24/7.

Let your communication with others be yea,yea; and nay, nay. The fewer words we speak in truth, the more authentic our manners and relationships will be.

Ephesians 4:29 says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers”.

Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”.

1 Corinthians 15:33 says  “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners”.

What do you talk about when you speak with others?.
Do you edify them with the words of God?.

Every word we speak here on earth is taken account of in heaven.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour, we have everlasting life and everlasting joy.
Psalms 48:1-2 says, “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth… … …”.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Likewise, He wants us to love others like he loves us and win more souls for him. It is a divine commandment wherein we are called unto to obey!.

1 John 4:21 says, “And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also”.

1 John 3:23&24 also says, “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him”.

TOPIC: DO NOT BE A FALSE WITNESS

MEMORY VERSE:
If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong; 
Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days.
Deuteronomy 19:16-17

BIBLE TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 19:16-20

Do not be a “false” witness. Be a “truthful” witness. We are permitted as Christians to be witnesses to good and just testimonies only.

Exodus 20:16 says, “Thou shall not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

When we bear false or good witness, God judges us too.
Matthew 7:1-2 says, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you again”.

Psalms 18:24-27 says, “Therefore hath Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight. With the merciful thou will shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright; with the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the forward thou wilt shew thyself forward. For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks”.

If we refuse to be witnesses to what is true and just, the soul of a righteous man may suffer unjustly.
Proverbs 14:25 says, “A true witness delivereth  souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies”.

Do not be a false witness: Be a good witness.

BIBLE TEXT: Titus 3:7-11

The doctrines of the scriptures is the only acceptable doctrine.
Proverbs 1:33 says, “But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil”.

Most often we come up with our personal doctrines and religions which goes against the scriptures.
Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death”.

Are you following the Lord’s doctrine?.
Have you caved out your own personal gods and religion?. Please beware of false doctrines: Avoid foolish doctrines vehemently!.

Trust in no man. Trust only in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, “What, know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”.

The Almighty God wants us to keep ourselves pure and holy always. He owns our body, lives in our body, and wants us to appear before him in holiness.

Romans 12:1 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

We are made strong daily by the spirit of God.
Zechariah 4:6b says, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts”.

When God made man, we breath his life and spirit into us. The life and Spirit of God within us is what makes us strong.
Genesis 2:7 says, “And the Lord God formed man of he dust of the ground, and breath into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul”.

We may be weak in the flesh now. But, we are forever strong in the spirit when we accept and believe in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour.
John 6:63 says, “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life”.

The rock of ages wants to strengthen your mind, your body, your soul, and spirit. Please accept him into your life today.

Are you living daily to please the Lord, Please consider your ways!.

Malachi 3:7b says, “Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the Lord of hosts”.

God wants us to return unto him. He desires a true fellowship with us.

John 4:23 says, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: For the Lord seeketh such to worship him”.

Like the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32, please let’s consider our ways and return back to God.
