When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour: Fear him: and live according to his will, he gives us life and peace.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you”.

Proverbs 9:10-11 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased”.

Philippians 4:7 says, “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

Do you desire longlife and peace? Give your life to the Lord; the giver of Life and Peace.

God created us for his pleasure. To worship him: glorify him: proclaim him to all nations: win souls to him… … …

When we live according to God’s design for our lives, we please the Lord.
Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created”.

When we obey God, do what is right and please him, God blesses us awesomely.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God”.

Do what is right and please the Lord!.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour, we receive power to become sons of God.
John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”.

When we follow Jesus Christ, he leads us daily to God our heavenly father. Making intercessions for us as our dear beloved sibling.
Matthew 12:50 says, “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother”.
John 10:27-29 says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give them unto eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand”.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and saviour, we will see the kingdom of God and reign with him forever.
Revelation 21:7 says, “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son”.

Happy new year!.

We are admonished to seek the face of the Lord.

When we seek the Lord, all other things are added unto us.
Matthew 6:33 says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.

When we seek the Lord, we will rejoice throughout this year 2025.
Psalms 40:16 says, “Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee”.

When we seek the Lord, he fights all our battles for us and gives us long life.
Psalms 91:15-16 says, “He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation”.

When we seek the Lord, he speaks to us. Exodus 3:4&14 says, “And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Isreal, I AM hath sent me unto you.

When we seek the Lord. We are preserved forever.
Psalms 27:4 says, “One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple”.

Seek ye the Lord!.

When we sit down in the presence of God; to learn his words; hear divine instructions; and know more about him, his eyes are fixed on us to attend to all our needs and fight all our battles for us.

Psalms 34:15 says, “The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto  their cry”.

Psalms 23:1 says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”.

Psalms 91:1 says, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”.

Psalms 91:9-10 says, “Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come night thy dwelling”.

Psalms 46:1 & 8-10 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathens, I will be exalted in the earth”.

God instructs us to sit in his presence day and night. The more time we spend with him, the more recognition and attention we receive from him.

Tarry tirelessly and sit down in the presence of the Lord.

TOPIC: READ THE WORD OF GOD

BIBLE TEXT: JEREMIAH 36:1-10, PSALMS 19

Memory Verse: Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the Lord in the ears of the people in the Lord’s house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all judah that come out of their cities. Jeremiah 36:6

Everday, we are to:
1) Read the words of God,
2) Hear the words of God,
3) Do the words of God,
4) Meditate upon the words of God,
5) Act upon the words of God,
6) Share the words of God, (and most importantly we must)
7) Know the words of God

When we read the words of God, it edifies our mind, body, soul, and spirit.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 says, “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works”.

Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success”.

The words of God is spirit and life. John 6:63 says, ” The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life”.

When we read the words of God everyday, we receive the life and spirit of God everyday.

TOPIC: THE KING OF KINGS

BIBLE TEXT: 1 Timothy 6:15

Memory Verse: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only potentate, the king of kings, and Lord of Lords. 1 Timothy 6:15

Because our heavenly Father is the King of Kings, His traits lives in our entire being. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”.

Our Heavenly Father: The King of Kings: is the creator and ruler of kings. God created man as a King to have dominion.

Genesis 1:27-28 says, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and have dominion over the the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth”.

Our hearts are in his hands, and He is always ready to give us all that we need.
Proverbs 21:1 says, “The King’s heart is in the hand of the Lord”.

1 Kings 3:9 & 10:23-24 says, “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?.
So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth sought to solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart”.

Our God is the King of Kings. He is the everlasting King!.

Are you a child of the King of Kings?.

Like the prodigal son, God wants you to come back to him.

TOPIC: GOD WILL FORGIVE YOU ALL YOUR SINS

BIBLE TEXT: Isaiah 1:18-19

Memory Verse: Come now, and Let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

God has the power to forgive us our sins if we repent and turn back to him.

2 chronicles 7:14 says, ” If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.

God will not forgive us our trespasses if we do not forgive others. God cannot behold iniquity. Matthew 6:15 says, “But if ye forgive not men their trepasses, neither will your heavenly father forgive your trepasses”. However, when we repent from our sinful ways, God will forgive us our sins.

2 Chronicles 30:9 says, “For if ye turn again unto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him”.

Return to God.

TOPIC: DO NOT SIN

BIBLE TEXT: Ezekiel 18:1-4

Memory Verse: Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

God is Holy. He cannot behold iniquity.

1 Peter 1:15-16 says, “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy”.

Habakkuk 1:13 says, “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity”.

When we live a life of sin, God turns his eyes away from us. But if we turn from our wicked ways, God will have mercy upon us and give us longlife.

Ezekiel 18:20-21 says, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that He commited, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, He shall not die”.

Do not sin!.
