TOPIC: DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND PLEASE THE LORD

BIBLE TEXT: 2 CHRONICLES 34:1-5, DEUTERONOMY 28:1-13

Memory Verse: And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left. 2 Chronicles 34:2

God created us for his pleasure. To worship him: glorify him: proclaim him to all nations: win souls to him… … …

When we live according to God’s design for our lives, we please the Lord.
Revelation 4:11 says, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things and for thy pleasure they are and were created”.

When we obey God, do what is right and please him, God blesses us awesomely.
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God”.

Do what is right and please the Lord!.

Let’s pray: I confess to God that I am a sinner, and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification, I do now receive and confess him as my personal saviour.

Praise the Lord and Welcome to the family of God.
