TOPIC: DO NOT SIN

BIBLE TEXT: Ezekiel 18:1-4

Memory Verse: Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

God is Holy. He cannot behold iniquity.

1 Peter 1:15-16 says, “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy”.

Habakkuk 1:13 says, “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity”.

When we live a life of sin, God turns his eyes away from us. But if we turn from our wicked ways, God will have mercy upon us and give us longlife.

Ezekiel 18:20-21 says, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that He commited, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, He shall not die”.

Do not sin!.
