TOPIC: PRAISE GOD WITH THE SWORD
MEMORY VERSE: Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand. Psalm 149:6
BIBLE TEXT: Psalm 149
Psalms 150:6 says, “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD”.
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”.
THE WORD OF GOD IS A SWORD!.
Why should we praise God with the sword?
We should praise God with the sword because;
*The Word of God is spirit and life. The word of God: A sword: gives us longlife to praise God forever. John 6:63
*The word of God: A sword: in our mouth, makes us overcomers. Revelation 12:11
*The word of God: A sword: is God himself. When we praise God with the sword, we praise God with the “power” of God unto God himself. John 1:1
*God takes pleasure in his people and beautifies the meek with salvation. Psalm 149:149
Do you want God to take pleasure in you and beautify your life with eternal salvation?, Please accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour today!.
Let’s pray:
I confess to God that I am a sinner, and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins on the cross and was raised for my justification.
I invite Jesus Christ to come into my life and become a part of it.
I want to have a new life, eternal life from today on.
I now receive and confess him as my personal lord and Saviour.
In the name of Jesus, Amen!”.
