BIBLE TEXT: John 1:4-9

Memory Verse: And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. John 1:5

Do not be deceived, confused, or dismayed, Jesus Christ is the only true light.

John 8:12 says, “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”.

John 8:31-32 says, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.

Have you got Jesus Christ in your life?
Please accept him today and be free from all forms of darkness.

When we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and saviour: We become the light of God; We shine forth our God given light that others may glorify our heaven father.

Matthew 5:14&16 says;

“Ye are the light of the world”.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE TRUE LIGHT!.

TOPIC: HUMBLE YOURSELF AND PRAY

BIBLE TEXT: 2 Chronicles 7:14-18

MEMORY VERSE: If my people, which are called by name, Shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will i hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14

Our heavenly father loves to hear us pray to him. He knows what we need. He just loves to see us humble ourselves before him and pray.

Matthew 6:8 says, “Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him”.

James 4:6 says, “God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble”.

When we humble ourselves and pray, we receive answers to all our request.

Matthew 21:22 says, “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive”.

Humble yourself and pray.

To receive blessing from the Lord, Psalms 24 vs 4&5 says, “He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, nor swear deceitfully. He will receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.”

IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. (Psm 91:1)

It is written in Exodus 33:20 that no man will see God face to face and live. However, God allows us to behold his glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18) and abide in his shadow (psm 91:1)

When we dwell in the shelter of God, we experience the presence of God.

Step one is to open the door and enter into the shelter of God,
Step two is to enter into his presence as a house and dwell therein permanently.

*HOW TO ENTER AND ABIDE IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY:

*WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE ABIDE IN THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY?
Psalms 91:3
Psalms 91:4
Psalms 91:7
Psalms 91:10

PUT ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:14

This is interesting. The Almighty God instructs us to put on the Lord Jesus Christ.

How do we put on the Lord Jesus Christ?

God is a spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. When you cloth your spirit man with divine covering, you are putting on the Lord Jesus Christ.

The flesh is covered daily with fine apparels, also our inner man and our soul must be clothed with the fullness of God.

When you put on the Lord Jesus Christ;
You put on the power of God. Romans 13:1
You put on the armour of light. Romans 13:12
You cast off all works of darkness. Romans 13:12
You make no provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts of the flesh. Romans 13:14
You become a carrier of the presence of God.

Are you divinely clothed?, Put on the Lord Jesus Christ!.

VESSELS OF MERCY

God said; I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Romans 9:15

God choose certain individuals as vessels of mercy.

There are many vessels in the house of God. we have vessels of honour, vessels unto dishonour, and also, vessels of mercy.

And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory. Romans 9:23

You do not qualify as a vessel of mercy by your power or might.
You do not qualify as a vessel of mercy by your good works.
You qualify as a vessel of mercy only by the mercy of God!.

It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. Romans 9:16

It is written; Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22

Therefore, you and I can be chosen as a vessel of God’s mercy by asking for it in prayers.

Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, have mercy upon me and make me a vessel of mercy.

WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE

Jesus Christ is our living everlasting hope.

He that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32

Do you have Jesus in your life? If yes, you are saved. Saved from death, saved from sin, saved from all plans of the enemy, saved from attacks, saved from every wicked imagination of the wicked against you. Saved from anything and anyone working against the will of God for your life.

The love of God is the greatest gift to mankind. The love of God brings life, joy, healing, long life, prosperity and every other blessing of God.

God showed his love for us by giving us his son Jesus Christ as our living hope so that through him we can have access to eternal life.

Are you saved?

Give your life to Jesus Christ today. He is the only hope we have for eternal life, and, everything challenging the power of God in your life will defeated in Jesus name. Amen.

For, I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come, nor heights, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39.

THE LAW OF EXTREME GRACE

Are you an extreme lover of God?, if yes, you qualify for the law of extreme grace.

David the writer of the book of Psalms is a classic example of a benefactor of the law of God’s grace.

Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Romans 5:20

Despite all the struggles David encountered with the flesh, the grace of God showed up for him because he was a genuine lover of God. David loved God with all his heart, his mind, his body, soul and spirit.

Shall we continue in sin then, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we that are dead to sin, live and any longer therein?. Romans 6:1-2.

God delivered David by his grace often because Jesus Christ had not yet been born.

Now, that the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the cross as our abounding grace to access the mercy of God is available to us. If we believe in God (John 3:16), we also like David, qualify for law of extreme grace to work in our lives as God’s children.

So, believe in God and receive divine access to the grace of God.

Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, Let the blood of Jesus give me abounding grace and power over sin. Amen

BELIEVE BEGETS RIGHTEOUSNESS

Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 4:3

Righteousness means right standing with God. It also means being right in the eyes of God.

When God promised Abraham a child and he believed God, God counted his unwavering believe in him as righteousness. God clothed Abraham with the garment of righteousness because of his believe.

Also, as God’s children, God can qualify us as righteousness men and women if we believe in him daily.

But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Acts 4:24-25

Do you want to become a righteousness man/woman?

Believe in God. Believe in Jesus Christ, and never doubt him again.

Prayer Point:
Oh Lord, help me never to doubt you again and cloth me with the garment of righteousness. Amen
